    Love Gail Gibbons books.
I’ve been reading Gail Gibbons books to my son since he was 1. He’s almost 6 now and still loves them but now he’s reading them to me. All her books are just fantastic! Highly recommended.

  2. Pennymom3

    Lot’s of information’
I loved all the information. It was a little long to read for a PreKindergarten class. Great for kids a little older!!

    My students enjoyed the book
This book contains a lot of information about the life of St. Patrick and St. Patrick’s Day. I purchased it for use in my 2nd grade classroom in a public school. It wasn’t as appropriate for this situation as I had hoped. Several pages of the book go into the religious aspect of St. Patrick’s life. I found I had to skip over some sentences in order to be politely correct in my classroom. My students enjoyed the book, and we were able to create an anchor chart with the main details of the text. Gail Gibbons is a wonderful author and illustrator…so this is main reason I had purchased this book for use in my classroom without previously seeing the details.

    WONDERFUL story & pictures
This was sent perfectly on time. I LOVE the how the story is written out. It is easy to read to younger children, yet engaging enough for middle elementary easily.

  5. Jim

My class enjoyed this book and learned from it.
This book is beautifully illustrated and educational. It also explains the religious aspects of the holiday too. I love books by this author!

  6. Kathleen Kane

    Great colors
Nice illustrations and story of saint Patrick’s day.

  7. Reta W.

    Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day
Half of the book explains how people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. I would rather it have stayed with the life of St. Patrick.

  8. Amazon Customer

    Great choice
Gail Gibbons’ books are always a good choice for factual info for kindergarten aged kids!

  9. ScotFlower

    Lots of info
This is not a story – its a lot of info on St. Patrick’s Day. This was the only book I found that talked about who St. Patrick was and his life. That is the main reason we got this book.

  10. Olivia

Did not get what was shown. “New and Updated” for diversity.
Not only was my book damaged but it was not as shown in the picture.Mine has “New and Updated” on the front cover and I can only assume to add the black boy child courting a white girl propaganda which wasn’t what I was ordering. I was just trying to get an educational book about the holy trinity and St. Patrick. Returning due to damage but also not repurchasing due to the unnecessary propaganda and not recieving the book that was described.
