Great learn-to-read mini books for those little Peppa fans! My 3yo can’t really read yet, but she loves the books and pick it up every now and then, which is a really good start. I only take out 1-2 books at a time so that she can concentrate on a few things at a time, rather than overwhelming her with so many Peppa books.

    Great phonics set!
Got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Since we officially started reading these books were a great addition to our reading regimen. There is lots of repetition and each book focuses on a certain set of sight words. Now she’s able to read them on her own and of course it helps that it’s her favorite character Peppa Pig!

    Best beginner reading books!!!
I have yet to find as good of a beginner reading book. These are great! Highly recommend! My oldest struggled with reading and these were great for her. My youngest is reading these in kindergarten. The repetition, rhyming, and bolder letters are great! I wish I could find more beginner reading books like these.

could not figure out what age is best to read and learn from it

  7. Jake, not from state farm.

    Great for beginning readers.
Got them for my kindergartener. He can read most of the sight words and they contain enough context in the pictures to help him figure out the rest.

Cute simple book series with pictures
I use this as a secondary series of books to a Primer for Beginning Readers Alpha-Phonics by Blumenfeld. That is more difficult and there are no pictures in it. But if you want your child to learn phonics you should use this book. The Peppa Pig book is a great secondary and more fun addition to phonics learning. Great pictures fun series of little books. But it does not teach you how to sound out things.

Would give it a 10 if I could!
I would give this set a 10 if I could…. I’m not joking 1 week and my 4,5 y.o. has read 5 books, last one he started on his own. I’m not saying he s fluently reading, BUT he got the concept and is recognizing words from the previous books. Absolutely love this! Even my Gr1 son is reading this, as they only just started learning to read, and while sight words did not work for him, he s started to “phonic” the words on his own with these books. There is enough repetition to really get the words, and the words repeat across the books. I am not kidding when I say this is an amazing set!!!!

Great for Early Readers for Practice. Much easier than the full books!
This pack is great for beginning readers. They are short and simple so your child can read them without assistance. Each book is 15 pages, each page has only one or two lines in big print. My preschooler loves the regular Peppa Pig books, but they are quite long and have a lot of big words for that age. These short phonics books are perfect. There are 10 books, and 2 workbooks. For a preschooler, the Workbooks are definitely too advanced. I’d save those for age 5-6. There is a nice box with a carrying handle to store the set in.The books in the set are:1. Look at That Hat2. The Best Pet3. Fix It Daddy Pig4. Lots of Jobs5. Fun in the Sun6. Daddy Pig Can7. They Get Wet8. Peppa’s Trip9. Mr. Fox’s Shop10. Mummy Pig’s Good Luck11. Workbook 112. Workbook 2
