    Good teaching tool
I got this book to support science teaching about light. It’s a good book that covers the basics for Year 3 in a logical order suitable for planning. Some experiments are suggested to enhance learning. I would have liked a bit more detail, particularly on shadow size/direction though. Overall an easy book for the target age group to understand.

    Students love it
Added this book to our content library, and the kids are always choosing it to make shadow puppets.

I was hesitant to buy this book without getting to look inside first, but it turned out to be an excellent purchase. I read it to my 3- and 4-year-old daughters, stopping to do the activities suggested, such as making shadow puppets and looking at our reflections in spoons. There was no need for any preparation. The book is written in a clear, simple style, and I appreciated that it didn’t have a textbook tone.

    Good book, received damaged
Great book but I received it with water damage that went all the way through the book. Not to sure what happened there

    Kids will love it!
Bought as part of 7 year old niece’s Christmas gift. It’s a fantastic book! It presents the information in a fun and colorful way that keeps kids interested.

  6. Ann Walker

Excellent. Clear and easy for a child to follow

  7. Michele Henson

    Great
This book came recommended by my daughters Kiwi Crate, when they did the unit on Light and Shadows. This was a great explination of light and shadows. Truly a worthwhile addition to our homeschool library!

  8. Palmer

    Great Book for wrong child.
The book is great but a little much for my four year old Great Grandson. But my eight year old Great Grand daughter loved it.

  9. Regina Wright

    Five Stars
Great book to use with Interactive Read Alouds in our school district that matches our Science Standards in TN.
