Smart clever toy but parents need to help
This was a gift for my nephew. I think he really liked it but the toy didn’t have a lot of staying power. It involved a lot of help with adults and I don’t think my nephew understood why it wasn’t just a remote control car. The cards also confused him – it turns out they’re just for saving your instructions. We thought at first that you inserted the cards into the car to give it directions. The line drawing part was fun but the line needs to be really thick and my nephew (almost 6) didn’t understand why. His drawing skills are not great and he had a hard time drawing thick enough lines for the robot to follow. Thankfully we had a marker with a thick chisel tip.

Poor quality sensors that don’t work
It is a frustrating toy that promises a lot but doesn’t deliver. The line sensor simply doesn’t work and the robot simply keeps rotating trying to scan the line. I tried lines with different dark pens on bright white papers. The arms are made of hard plastic and difficult to fit pencils so it can’t be used to draw anything. It was a gift for 5 yo and she soon lost interest in it.
