A must buy for children that love dinosaurs. The best part is that each dinosaur’s name is broken down into syllables and so easy to say.My grandson loves dinosaurs and I have bought so many books for him, but this is absolutely the best. Now we have fun saying their names properly.

  2. Grandma

Having bought this book for a young family member I was impressed with the detail in the illustrations and the information provided. I was however, disappointed with how some of the larger dinosaurs continue over two pages. From a young person’s point of view they just want to see a dinosaur in its entirety – the whole perspective issue is really lost on them. That being said our young dinosaur fan picks this book up continuously and probably will do so well into the future.

    My boy loves this book
This book is so wonderful and my Son loves it. This book show the dinasourius with colorful pictures and the information is easy but with many details for the children and adults. I recommend this how one perfect book.

A HUGE hit with my dino loving 5 year old twins
This is a brilliant book! It’s so comprehensive, with so much detail, and so many dinosaurs we haven’t seen before in all the dinosaur books we have! (which is a lot!)This has been brilliant for extending my children’s already vast knowledge of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. Not only does it cover dinosaurs, but it also covers creatures that commonly get called dinosaurs but actually aren’t, flying reptiles, sea creatures, prehistoric plants – gosh, so much!Honestly, this book is a must-have for dino fans! They’ll get to learn names, how to pronounce them, what they looked like, when they lived, what they ate, who they preyed on, and who preyed upon them, it shows them to scale against a child or a modern-day animal, and against each other. It examines different tails, different eggs, different skins and scales, and feathers, it shows how paleontologists find and examine fossils, and so much more!To top it off at the end it also goes into what happened to the dinosaurs when they became extinct, and dinosaur relatives today. The last couple of pages show small photos of all the dinosaurs featured throughout, with key facts about them, a glossary, and then finally a fabulous and huge poster with all the dinosaurs on!Phew! It’s a brilliant book, jam-packed with so much good stuff. My two little 5 year old dino hunters love it, and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it.

    Great Book!
This was a gift for a dino-obsessed four year old and he LOVED it. The text was way beyond his level, but he loved the illustrations and the name pronunciations made identifying his favorites easier for me. The illustrations of scale were also really good, and there’s more for him to discover as his reading improves. Highly recommend!

    My toddler loves this book!
My toddler (16 months) is obsessed with animal books, so we got him Dinosaur A to Z and he loves it! Page design keeps his attention; for now he loves the images, and there’s so much detail that he can learn as he grows. Each page has a scale with a child (or sometimes a chicken) to help put dino sizes in perspective; for some reason, our kid really likes this scale feature, always points it out. More than dinosaurs, helps young readers understand our current world and its prehistory.

Must Buy for your Dino loving kid
One of the must buy books for kids if they are into dinosaurs. The content is fantastic. The book quality and graphics are simply captivating. They also have a big poster for kids to put up in their rooms.Overall, this is one of the most amazing books on dinos. And trust me I have quite a few.

    We love this book!
My kids love dinosaurs! So of course I researched and got overwhelmed with all the dinosaur books out there!!!This book is great. It’s so full of great information! It talked about dinosaur habitats, does size comparisons between other animals – chickens, rhinos, even a Human!I read a ton of reviews for dinosaur books and a lot of them were parents complaining that they were too gory…. blood, eating animals etc. Personally, that’s what carnivore dinosaurs ate, meat, dead animals etc. So I didn’t have an issue with that. But this book doesn’t have any of that. So if you’re looking for a book about dinosaurs without gore this is your book!

    Best dino book¡
This book is AMAZING! beautifully illustrated, clear pronunciation guides, and engaging for both my 5 and 7 year olds. If you buy one educational book about dinosaurs, it needs to be this one.

  10. Wendydydydy

Lots of information about dinosaurs, and a guide to pronouncing their names
For children who love dinosaurs, this book provides lots of information and names of dinosaurs (and help to pronounce the names!), as well as information about the world they lived in and other animals that lived at the same time. For most kids, this book is not the sort of book to read cover-to-cover in one sitting, but it contains a wealth of interesting information.
